Sailashree Vihar, Bhubaneswar – In a commendable joint effort between local cow protectors and Chandrasekharpur Police, three individuals were arrested on charges of cow slaughter and the illegal sale of beef in the Sailashree Vihar area. The arrests were made after vigilant members of the cow protection community caught the culprits red-handed and promptly handed them over to the authorities.
Narayan Sahoo, a dedicated cow saver, received a distress call from a concerned local resident and rushed to the scene to verify the situation. Convinced of the illicit activities taking place, he wasted no time in alerting the police to take action. According to Mr. Sahoo, there is a disturbing trend in which several restaurants in Bhubaneswar are allegedly serving beef disguised as chicken or mutton.
Supporting this claim, Mr. Sachin, another prominent member of the local cow protection group, echoed similar concerns. The apprehension of these suspects sheds light on the need for increased vigilance against such unlawful practices in the region.”
